About Laser and Plasma Technologies

 Dr. Mool C. Gupta founded Laser and Plasma Technologies and serves as company Chairman and Technical Advisor. He currently holds the  Langley Distinguished Professorship at the University of Virginia and is Director of the National Science Foundation Industry-University Cooperative Research Program (I/UCRC) Center for Lasers and Plasmas for Advanced Manufacturing. 

 Founded in 2002, Laser & Plasma Technologies (LPT) is a research and development company focused on innovating and commercializing advanced materials, devices, and systems based on lasers, optical sensors, and nanomaterials. Our facilities include over 1,000 square feet of laboratory and office space located adjacent  to the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
